The village board accepted the resignation of Village President Michael Murray during the monthly board meeting on Nov. 12. Village Trustee Daniel Acker was nominated and accepted the role of Acting President. This appointment will remain in effect until the April 2025 election.

The board would like to express their sincere thanks to Michael for his dedication and hard work over the last 3.5 years. His desire to ensure the success and well being of the Village of Tiskilwa was unquestionable, and he will be missed. We wish him all the best.
