The Village of Tiskilwa will be placed under a boil order from Thursday May 9th thru Sunday May 12th.

The Village will be cleaning the water storage tank on the hill as well as the ground tank at the water plant. During this time an isolation valve will also be installed to improve and simplify future work and cleaning of the storage tank. 

The boil order will remain in effect until bacteriological testing, performed by TEST, confirms the safety of the drinking water meets the standard requirements.

Once the tests meet the required standards a notice will be posted to notify residents that the boil order is lifted.
