Installation of new water meters has begun!

To date, approximately 45 new water meters have been installed and are operational. Every Tiskilwa water customer will receive a new water meter as a part of this system-wide upgrade. It will take some time, but we have an additional 159 meters on order, with an expectation to receive them in mid-April. Installation of these will begin as soon as they are received. 

One great advantage of the new meters is their compatibility with the EyeOnWater mobile app. This free to download mobil app (Available for both Android/iPhone) can be set up in just a few seconds using the account number located on the top left corner of your monthly bill. No additional sign up information is required.

Residents can monitor daily/weekly/monthly/annual water usage, get notifications of potential leaks in your home, and better understand when water is being consumed. 

This batch of 159 water meters was paid for with funds distrubited by the American Rescue Plan, valued at $45,550.87.
