Tiskilwa Junk Days

The Village junk days will be held June 24th and go until the 27th for only Village of Tiskilwa residents.

This year will be different from previous years past. No junk will be placed at the ends of residents driveways. Bureau Republic will be delivering 4 large roll off dumpsters that will be placed behind the Fire Station. 2 dumpsters will be picked up and replaced on the 25th with all of them being taken away on the 27th. This will be a first come first serve kind of basis until the dumpsters are full.

This is due to the manpower that Bureau Republic has. They do not have the resources to be able to pick up junk from each resident’s home. In addition, previous years residents have left large piles of junk while continuing to place garbage even after the last pick up day.

We understand that this will be an inconvenience for people, however, this is a way that we can continue to have this benefit for the Village.

The following is a list of items that are not allowed to be thrown into the dumpsters, any resident found throwing improper items into the dumpsters will be fined. If you have Non-Acceptable items please call Bureau Republic directly to make arrangements and help in proper disposal of them.
